Overview
If you hold land for which a grid connection study report (or grid connection application response) has been obtained, or if you hold grid interconnection rights (ID), REVIX JAPAN will provide a free preliminary assessment and valuation, and support the sale of your asset. We handle complex rights arrangements and work to ensure you achieve a fair price.
What Is a Grid-Scale BESS Site?
Installing a grid-scale BESS requires a "grid interconnection permit" from the utility company. Land for which this permit (a grid connection study report or grid connection application response) has been obtained, or the rights completed through a connection application (commonly referred to as an "ID" or "grid interconnection ID"), represents a highly valuable asset for investors and businesses seeking to enter the BESS sector.
However, many holders of such rights are unable to make effective use of them, or wish to sell but are unsure how to proceed. REVIX JAPAN supports the sale of these "dormant assets" at a fair price.
Why REVIX JAPAN Supports the Sale of Sites and Rights
Because REVIX JAPAN develops and operates high-voltage grid-scale BESS itself, we are constantly seeking quality sites and rights. At the same time, we actively support rights brokerage and sale, giving us the perspective to assess value from both sides.
Key benefits for sellers:
- Free preliminary assessment (hazard, noise, and buried cultural property review using publicly available data)
- Complimentary valuation report
- No sales restriction (no exclusivity or exclusive agency required; parallel sales to other parties permitted)
- Access to multiple prospective buyers (nationwide network of investors and operators)
